Grocery Cart

This morning at the grocery store, I ducked into the Women’s Room before digging into my list. And, right there, taking up the majority of the restroom is a shopping cart. A woman had brought it in with her. It was not full of groceries. In fact, it did not have any groceries at all in it. It did, however, have a large purse in the upper compartment, nestled in where children often sit with their legs dangled through the two openings. And, the lady with the large purse was very carefully applying her make-up. She went back for more and more out of her compact, rubbing the powder all over her face. This made sense to me, based on the abundance of bright blue eye shadow and plethora of black eyeliner she was donning.
And, now I understood the shopping cart in the bathroom; to hold her purse. The countertop may not accommodate her bag of tricks, or art supplies. But, the large stainless steel cart would. How convenient, well, convenient for her, anyway. So what I have to carefully maneuver around her and her cart in this small space? Far be it for me to interrupt this artist, as she paints and paints and paints.
